Rest & Reset Retreat – Cancellation & Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing to join us for the Rest & Reset Retreat in Costa Rica. Because we make financial commitments to the retreat center and our vendors well in advance, all cancellations are subject to the following policy.
Reservation & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your space. Your registration is confirmed once your deposit has been received.
Payment Schedule
The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule provided at registration.
If payments are not received by the due dates, Island Heron Yoga reserves the right to cancel your reservation and retain any payments already made in accordance with this policy.
If You Need to Cancel
More than 120 days before the retreat: You will receive a refund of all payments made, except for the non-refundable deposit.
91–120 days before the retreat: You will receive a 50% refund of all payments made, excluding the deposit.
90 days or less before the retreat: No refunds will be issued.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your reservation to another participant approved by Island Heron Yoga up to 30 days before the retreat.
If We Need to Cancel
If Island Heron Yoga cancels the retreat due to low enrollment or other circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to Island Heron Yoga.
Island Heron Yoga is not responsible for airfare, travel expenses, hotel accommodations, or other costs you may have incurred outside of your retreat registration.
Unexpected Events Beyond Our Control
If the retreat is affected by events beyond our reasonable control—such as severe weather, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, pandemics, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances—we will make every effort to reschedule the retreat or offer a credit toward a future retreat.
Refunds in these situations will depend on the funds that can be recovered from the retreat venue and other vendors.
Travel Insurance
Because unexpected situations can happen, we strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, medical coverage, and emergency evacuation. Travel insurance is the best way to protect your investment should you need to cancel or experience travel disruptions.
Agreement
By registering for this retreat and submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy.
